2026 Business Window & Residential Yard Sign Display Competition

Theme -"Share What You Know - Show What You Grow"

PRIZES: Residential: 1st $150 & $50 Market Voucher 2nd $50 3rd $40 4th – 6th $20

Business: 1st $200 Donation in the name of the Business to a Not for Profit organization of their choice.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Contest is open to all residents and businesses within a 20 km radius of Woodstock Fairgrounds.

2. Display should represent something you would see at the Fair, i.e. tractor, animal, midway ride, vegetable, Pet Show, Cattle Show, 4-H Show, Llama & Goat Show, Demolition Derby, etc.

3. Display must face a public road but must be at least 10 feet back from road allowance, or in a store front window.

4. Display must include a sign that states: Woodstock Agricultural Fair, August 21st, 22nd & 23rd and preferably be visible from both directions.

5. Display must make reference to the Fair theme “Share What You Know – Show What You Grow”. 

6. Competitors can compete in either Residential or Business Competitions. Prizes will be awarded in each category.

7. Displays are to be assembled and ready for judging by 12:00pm on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, and must remain as judged until Monday August 24th. Failure to remain will forfeit any prize. No exceptions.

8. Please indicate the category entered – (Residential or Business). 

9. All entries must be received by Wednesday, August 4th, 2026

10. Photographs of the winning displays will be on view at the Oxford Auditorium.

11. Winners will be announced at the Auditorium on opening day of the Fair on Friday, August 21st, 2026.

12. Judging Score: Overall appearance 30%, Originality 30%, Identifiable Theme 20% Visibility 20%.
